Cultural Humility, Substance Use Treatment, and Belonging, Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (BJED&I)

Steady was developed to meet the needs of our society as it relates to cultural responsiveness, as well as the need for more culturally responsive and comprehensive mental health care for people impacted directly or indirectly by substance use.

At Steady, we offer clinical consultation to individuals and organizations that are looking for ways to improve who they serve, whether that be an individual client or a community impacted by racial injustices or substance use. We offer program development, program evaluation, group clinical consultation, and training for organizations including, but not limited to: substance use, codependency, co-occurring disorders, and organizational cultural responsiveness.

Steady has developed a strategic partnership with Jernigan & Associates in which Steady offers expertise in culturally responsive substance use through technical assistance, consultation, and training collaboration. This strategic partnership highlights one of Steady’s critical principles grounded in the African Proverb, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”.
